Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Tijelabine mobile application and website ("Tijelabine", "the Service", "we"). It describes what personal data we collect, why we use it, and how you can exercise your rights. This policy applies only to the Tijelabine service.

Types of data Tijelabine may collect:

• Account: email address, password (stored securely), display name.
• Third-party sign-in: Google or Apple identifier and the email address provided by the provider.
• Phone: phone number if you add it to your profile (SMS verification may be used).
• Profile: wilaya, commune, address, social links, and other fields you choose to provide.
• Device identifiers: on Android, a non-reversible SHA-256 fingerprint derived from ANDROID_ID is used to recognize guest accounts and secure the referral program. The raw ANDROID_ID is neither stored nor transmitted. On other platforms, a random app-installation identifier is used.
• Usage: vehicle searches, listings viewed, favorites, messages, and interactions with the Service.
• User content: text, photos, and listing information you publish.
• Technical data: IP address, server logs, device type, operating system, and website cookies.
• Analytics and stability: usage events and crash reports via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
• Location: we do not continuously collect precise GPS location; metadata (e.g. EXIF) may be present in photos you upload.

1. Purposes: account, listings, search, messaging, support, security, service improvement, and legal compliance.
2. Legal basis: contract performance, legitimate interests (security, improvement), and legal obligations where applicable.
3. Sharing: technical providers (hosting, SMS, Google/Apple authentication, Firebase) acting on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
4. Retention: as long as needed for your account and the Service, then deletion or anonymization as required by law.
5. Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability where the law requires.
6. Security: technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, backups).
